What is www.grumpyolddba.co.uk all about?
Maintaining a blog is great, in fact there are so many excellent blogs that I can't keep up with them all, and this is what this site is all about. This site will be the repository for all the information I carry around with me and the documents I write.
The Grumpy Old DBA came about when I was urged to create a blog on SqlBlogCasts.com, I have a double barrelled ( hyphenated ) surname and although the blog was created I couldn't access it!
What www.grumpyolddba.co.uk is not
There is no intention to set this site as an all singing all dancing, neither of which I can do anyway, portal for SQL Server. It's not a one stop shop for SQL Server nor is it intended to rival the established SQL Server sites which I admire.
The Grumpy Old DBA has been that way since 1990 when he first encountered a database!
